Detective Conan the Movie: The Scarlet Bullet

The Detective Conan anime has already been adapted into several forms, including manga, anime series, and feature films, making it one of the most popular anime of all time.

For those of you who are unaware, the venerable anime series Detective Conan was created in 1996 and has since broadcast continuously. It was adapted from the manga created by Gosho Aoyama. Since Detective Conan has had almost a thousand episodes and 25 full-length movies up to this point, it has become a legend.

Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet's Synopsis

When this Detective Conan movie is set, Japan is hosting the World Sports Game, one of the World Sport Game (WSG). The Japanese Bullet, however, is also debuting in Japan as the country's first high-tech fast train.

While the two festivities were going on, a kidnapping attempt was made against the executives of the WSG sponsoring firm, who gradually vanished one by one. Conan goes on to suggest that this kidnapping may be connected to the WSG incident that occurred in Boston a few years ago.

Conan is not the only one helping to find solutions in this movie. An FBI agent, a high school investigator, and a professional shogi player will all help Conan.

Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet's Review

Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet's plot is well-developed and simple to follow. In contrast to most of the criminal instances in earlier films, which were fairly severe, the criminal situations discussed in this film are rather light and easy for the audience to understand.

Nevertheless, this is overlooked since the visuals and animations are so entertaining to watch. The comprehensive photos of many Japanese sceneries, including Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya Oasis 21, and Nagoya Castle, are extremely beautiful.

This Detective Conan movie features stunning and calming music in addition to being visually appealing. The band Tokyo Jihen gave an epic rendition of the song "The Scarlet Alibi" for the theme tune itself.

Concerning the negatives, aside from the comparatively minor crimes, Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet is an anime movie that lacks memorable special sequences. In other words, while not wholly disappointing, the most recent Detective Conan movie is less noteworthy.

You don't need to be concerned if you're not a real fan of Detective Conan or if you haven't watched the movies or the series. You may watch this movie without fearing that you won't be able to follow the plot because it is a stand-alone movie.
